Thank you for the game! I found it cute and smart. All the characters are funny and I liked the trick with teleportation. Got me thinking about the puzzles I can make in Bitsy.
Btw, you did an amazing job documenting your development process. This stuff is priceless. It made me feel bad for not doing it myself for all the games I made before. Thank you for the great idea!
Hey, Valeriy! Sorry for the delayed response. I appreciate your kind words. Bitsy seems like a simple and limited tool yet the possibilities are endless. I've even seen full graphic novels made with Bitsy!
I'm also glad you found my devlog useful. I got inspired by other developers. I find it very helpful to reflect on the things I did, find improvements and take those learnings to my next project. So I really encourage you to do the same. I seems like unnecessary burden at first but it worth doing it and, like with everything, you get better the more you do it.
I had fun with this and appreciated reading your postmortem, too. I got both the dumpster ending and the dead end and was wondering if there were any more!
Thanks a lot for taking the time to play the game and read the devlog! There are a few stepbacks when interacting with certain objects. Not sure if you encounter those.
And, yeah, that kitty seems to hav a story of its own.
Thanks a lot playing, onion. The dumpster is the only ending. I had planned to add a few more, but it was taking me too long to wrap up the idea and decided to keep it as it is.
i really liked the design(?) of the first tardis sending u back to the beginning because it did make me avoid them and be like.. oh dead end.... until i went back to them haha very clever!!
I'm glad you enjoyed the little Tardis adventure. The Tardis wasn't on my original plans. I got carried away while adding those characters/objects across the maze. Then thought that it would be could to "teleport" the player and change the landing spot a few times. It was fun to do.
